Differentiation is an instructional model guiding teachers in developing classrooms attentive to the needs of academically diverse learners.
Students will have options for taking in or accessing information (content), making sense of ideas (process), and expressing what they learn (product).
JCISD uses differentiation and cluster grouping as methods to meet the academic needs of GT students in the four content areas. ELAR, Math, Science, and Social Studies teachers are GT trained (30 hours plus the annual 6 hour update).
